What we value at Nashville PT

There are a few key things we value at Nashville PT. They are all things we take very seriously to ensure our patients have the best experience possible and meet their goals when they come to see us.

We value 1-on-1 customized treatments.

No pulling a pre-printed sheet of exercises from a drawer for you! No time spent in the corner doing exercises on your own or with a support staff! You will only see your PT for your full appointment.

Everything we do in our treatments from your hands on manual therapy to your exercises to your number of sessions or length of time needed is completely customized based on your goals and what we find with your physical exam.

Your problem and your goals are unique to you, so why shouldn't your treatment be as well?

Don't settle for cookie-cutter physical therapy. A customized treatment plan should deliver superior results in fewer visits.

We value empowering our patients by educating them.

Consumer driven healthcare is the future of healthcare. It puts you in the driver’s seat as an active participant in making decisions that ultimately determine your future health and well-being.

We strive to empower you to understand your condition fully so that we can work together as a team to accomplish your goals.

Education is a big part of what we do with our patients. What good is an exercise program if you don't know why you're doing those exercises? You need to understand your condition, your program, your plan, and any modifications you might need to make at home or with physical activity.

Understanding all of those things gives you a firm foundation for improvement in your symptoms and independence in managing and alleviating them.

We value focusing on wellness and prevention.

Your vehicle requires regular maintenance. Guess what? So do you. Don’t wait until you have “engine failure” to seek care.

Waiting until you have a full-blown injury is costly and requires a significant amount of healthcare services and time lost doing your favorite things. There are so many injuries we see and think, "if we could've just gotten to them sooner, we could've prevented this!"

We believe that everyone needs to get regular physical “tune-ups” to keep their body operating as it should. Doing this can prevent so many aches and pains that end up costing you money and time away from doing what you love.

You go to your primary care doctor annually for a physical to make sure your organs and systems in good health and catch things early if there's an issue. Why wouldn't you do the same for your muscles, bones and joints?

Make sure you're not taking better care of your car than you do your own body. Investing in your health is one of the best investments you can make and we want to help you do that.

We value proven treatment methods.

Our therapists have gone beyond their normal doctorate level education to pursue specialized training in orthopedics, manual therapy, dry needling, spine intervention, pelvic floor and activity specific exercise.

If you're a runner, don't you want to see the PT who knows running the best? The PT who's gone for extra training to analyze your gait or become a running coach so they can modify your training program if needed? We offer both of those.

If you're in a specialty or you want to make sure you're getting tried and true methods of treatment backed up by science, we can give that to you.

Whether your interest is running, golf, dance, lifting or rock climbing (and we've even got more specialties than that) we've got a PT for you who understands your sport and the best treatments to get you back out there.

We value treating our patients just like we want to be treated when we are the patient.

It's the Golden Rule. We all learned it when we were kids. We've made sure it's part of our practice.

We've all been the patient somewhere that we didn't have a great experience. Maybe it wasn't enough time with the provider, our questions didn't get answered, someone was rude to us, or we just felt like a number, not a patient.

We want to be as far from those negative experiences as possible. That's why we do a simple but often overlooked thing and create the same experience we'd want to have if we went to a provider.

What we value in a healthcare provider are the same key elements we provide to our patients:

Someone who takes the necessary time to really listen to and understand us. Someone who educates us on how to manage our condition independently with minimal medical intervention but primarily with diet, exercise, and mindfulness. Someone who serves as a resource we can trust and reach out to when needed.

If that is what you're looking for in a healthcare provider, you've found the right place!
